Right Media Marketplace Insights
Right Media has released its first Marketplace Insights paper, focused on advertiser offer types in the second half of 2009.
Here are some key points in the paper:
- Shopping, Service and other high-margin offer types had the greatest number of impressions and the highest spend.
- Gaming and Entertainment offers had high click-through rates, potentially due to instant user engagement.
- In the second half of 2009, Shopping, Service, Insurance and Autos saw seasonality variations in impression volumes, eCPM, and click-through rate.
- Shopping, Service, Insurance, and Autos all displayed declines in impressions in the last quarter of the year. And each had a spike in eCPM during the same week of December.
